Events Industry Returning!

We are past the so-called 'Freedom Day' here in the UK, and we are delighted that events across the country are well and truly back! The number of people able to attend events is no longer limited, so festivals, weddings, birthday parties and other events can go ahead.
Spirafix Ground Anchors and accessories are ideal for use for temporary events. They're effortless to install - all you do is drive the spiral anchor into position (through almost any ground surface) using impact, such as a lump hammer, sledgehammer, or machine. The anchors move down on their helix, so every impact forces the anchor to rotate down into the ground and stay there until you remove them.
Our Ground Anchors are incredibly secure when installed correctly, so there's no need to worry about a marquee or tent being blown away in the event of high winds or other extreme weather conditions. This gives our customers peace of mind that their event can go ahead no matter what the weather.
The Spirafix team were delighted to help with stage installation at the GOODWOOD Festival of Speed which was held from the 8th to the 11th of July in the parkland surrounding Goodwood House just outside of Chichester.
Our team were on hand to install anchors at the festival. The anchors were used as a tethering application to fasten down a large stage for the duration of the event. We used SF50-10-1050AC, installed with collared eye bolts and SA892/SA893 locking hubs and pins to keep them in place safely and securely. Once in place, we carried out load testing, and all loads exceeded 1000KG +.
In this instance, our Ground Anchors replaced IBC water ballast/concrete blocks. This meant the installation and stage were far more aesthetically pleasing for visitors to the Festival of Speed.
