Equestrian Use

Wednesday 28th April 2021

We have recently seen a surge in enquiries and purchases from clients in the equestrian world. These orders have come from all around the globe, including France, Denmark, Italy, Sweden, Australia and more!

Here are just a few of the uses of our ground anchors and brackets in the equestrian world, but there is no limit to the applications available. If you need something secured to the ground, then Spirafix Ground Anchors are the solution!

Ground Anchors for Mobile Cross Country Jumps

At Spirafix, we have ground anchor and bracket combinations perfect for use with mobile cross country jumps. They're regarded by many in the industry as the number one solution for securing mobile jumps and are incredibly safe. Our Spirafix solution has been rigorously tested and passed at the Annual Course Builders Forum at Burghley Horse Trials. It's also the only tried and tested ground anchor included within the FEI Eventing Cross Country Course Design Guidelines.

When the event is over, and it's time to move the jumps, all you have to do is unscrew the anchor using an adjustable ratchet, and almost no trace is left behind.

We strongly advise that you place the anchors and brackets at the front of the jump. If the jump is part of a loop and riders will approach from both sides, then you should anchor both sides of the jump to ensure maximum safety for both horse and rider.

Ground Anchors for Mobile Field Shelters

Wooden field shelters can be moved around throughout the year, and Spirafix ground anchors make this as easy as possible. With four solid head anchors and 4 through slot brackets, we make it simple for our customers to move their field shelters around with as little fuss as possible.

Fixing mobile field shelters to the ground using our anchors is incredibly straightforward. All you have to do is attach the five-hole through-slot bracket to your field shelter, using one on each corner. Then, position your field shelter and drive the solid head anchor down through the slot in the bracket. You have successfully installed the anchor once the anchor collar reaches the bracket.

When it's time to move your field shelter, all you need to do is remove the anchor from the ground using an adjustable ratchet, leaving the bracket attached to the shelter. Then, simply reinstall the anchors in the new location.
